Gambia is a beautiful country with some of the most delicious food I’ve ever tasted in my life. As soon as I touched down and stepped outside, I was hit by the aroma of freshly grilled fish and sweet plantains on wood burning stoves.

I made my way to an outdoor market where vendors were selling their wares. One vendor caught my eye and he had a large pot filled with what looked like soup. His smiling face told me it was worth trying so I asked him what it was. He said it’s called Domoda, which is a traditional peanut-based stew from Gamb
