Sudan is a place full of amazing and unique food. As I explored the city, I had the opportunity to try some local dishes that I will never forget.

The first thing I tried was ful medames – it’s a popular breakfast dish made from mashed fava beans mixed with oil, garlic, cumin and other spices.
