One of my favorite dishes in Syria was Kibbeh. This dish is made from bulgur wheat, minced onions, minced lamb or beef and spices. It’s shaped into balls then fried until golden brown on the outside and soft inside. The flavor is savory yet slightly sweet due to the addition of cinnamon and other spices like cumin. It’s absolutely delicious!
