Tower in Turkmenistan – Tower, known as the “Tower of Turkmenbashi”, is one of the most iconic landmarks in Central Asia. It stands tall at 45 meters and is located on the Caspian Sea coast near Ashgabat. The tower was built in 2008 by President Saparmurat Niyazov to commemorate his late father and celebrate modern Turkmenistan’s independence.
