Bangladesh is a country full of delicious food, and as a tourist visiting the area it was my mission to find out what all the fuss was about! I began by sampling some of the traditional dishes.

First up was Dhakai Biryani – an iconic dish in Bangladesh made with savory beef or chicken and fragrant rice that is cooked together in one pot. The aroma alone will make your mouth water; the mix of spices like cloves, cardamom and cinnamon were delightfully comforting. One bite had me hooked and I knew this would be one meal I would not forget soon!
