Stone Bridge in Skopje – is home to a beautiful landmark known as Stone Bridge. This bridge, which dates back to the 15th century, has been an important part of the city’s history and culture for hundreds of years. It connects two parts of Old Town Skopje on its western side and also functions as a crossing over the Vardar River in between them. The bridge spans 205 meters across with 11 arches covered by stone blocks that were cut from nearby Zajas Mountain. Macedonia is a beautiful country, and I was so excited to visit for the food. As soon as I arrived in the capital city of Skopje, I could smell something delicious cooking nearby.
