Stories and Reviews from Our Team/Clients in  Sana’a, Yemen

Yemen is a country full of history, culture, and delicious flavors. On my recent visit to Yemen I was able to experience the local cuisine first hand!

My first dish in Yemen was Saltah. It is made up of a stewed meat (usually lamb) with vegetables such as potatoes, onions and tomatoes cooked together on low heat for hours until it reaches an amazing flavor. The broth has complex spices like cumin, turmeric and cardamom which give it its unique taste. To top it off there are also some ingredients that really make it stand out: fenugreek leaves
