Place of interest in Havana

: Plaza de la Revolución in Cuba – : Plaza de la Revolución is a must-see if you’re visiting the Caribbean island. Located in Havana, it’s one of the most iconic and recognizable monuments in Cuba. It was constructed to commemorate several important Cuban historical figures, including Che Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos. The plaza is known for its large bronze statue of José Martí – the national hero of Cuba – and features two other statues dedicated to Fidel Castro and Antonio Maceo nearby. The area around Plaza de la Revolución is rich with culture and history, so it makes for an interesting daytrip from anywhere else

Old Havana in Cuba – Old Havana is a paradise of white sandy beaches, beckoning blue waters and lush green vegetation. It is located on the tip of Cuba’s Hicacos Peninsula and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of Central America. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as swimming, snorkeling, kayaking or just lounging around in the sun. The best time to visit Varadero Beach is between December and April when temperatures are milder compared to other months. During this period, there are also lots of cultural events for tourists to enjoy including music festivals and art exhibits.

Varadero Beach in Cuba – Varadero Beach is one of the most iconic landmarks in Havana, Cuba. Located in the historical center of the city and guarding the entrance to Havana bay, El Morro is a 16th century fortress that was built by Spanish colonialists to defend against pirates and foreign invaders. The fort is made up of seven levels each with its own courtyard, ramparts and cannons. Visitors can explore the various towers where they will find an array of artifacts from past battles as well as breathtaking views of Old Havana and beyond.

Che Guevara Mausoleum in Cuba – Ulu Temburong National Park in Havana.
