Failaka Island in Kuwait – Failaka Island is an iconic landmark in Kuwait City. It stands tall as a symbol of liberation and is situated on the coast of Kuwait Bay, near Kuwait Towers. The Tower measures 372 meters high making it one of the tallest landmarks in the world! Built in 1996 to commemorate the end of Iraq’s occupation, Liberation Tower has become one of Kuwait’s most popular tourist attractions.
