It is one of the most important sites to visit in Kigali and is located on the former grounds of Ecole Technique Officielle (ETO). Rwanda is my new favorite place to explore. I love the culture, people and most of all the food! All over Rwanda you can find local dishes that are cooked with fresh ingredients and have amazing flavors.

One dish I really enjoyed was Isombe. It’s made from cassava leaves which are boiled down until they become soft. Then it’s mixed with shredded dried fish, ground peanuts, onions and garlic – giving it a unique flavor that is both savory and slightly sweet at the same time!
